The Olla Podrida
A specialty shopping center converted from three large airplane hangars at an older airport. This creative commerce center utilized unique antiques and recovered building materials from all over Texas. From the old Texas highway pavers that became its rustic floor, to the antiques decorating its walls, this was a fun place to go just to wander around. The retail draw to this shopping center were 88 specialty artisans, artists, craft shops, galleries, restaurants and classrooms for art throughout the complex.
